I have organized many paintball field trips, and it is always a highlight of the year for many students. Paintball is fun, gets students outside, is an excellent team-building activity, and can be a great workout.
We travel just over an hour to Central Island Paintball, where they outfit students with gear and run a variety of games on multiple playing fields for about 2.5 hours. If you choose to play paintball with your class, make sure to choose a reputable company, and follow these simple rules:
1. Always wear a face mask when on the field – do not take it off no matter what
2. Before you exit the playing field, put your barrel sock on your gun
3. Let an opponent surrender if they are in close range – do not shoot them
